Victoria Sapa Hotel offers you luxury and comfort while at the same time the possibility to explore the old hill station, Sapa. There are ethnic minority markets in the streets and the possibility to visit the nearby villages. Topas Ecolodge is located 18 km from Sapa, deep in the Hoang Lien Mountains. Here you will once again experience the comfort of quality accommodation whilst enjoying pure nature, peace and unique views over the mountains.

Short Itinerary:
Day 1: Night train from Hanoi to Lao Cai.
Day 2: Transfer to Sapa. Free day. Overnight at Victoria Sapa hotel.
Day 3: Transfer to Topas Ecolodge. Day is at your leisure at Topas Ecolodge.
Day 4: All day is at your leisure at Topas Ecolodge.
Day 5: Free day. Back to Lao Cai. Train to Hanoi.
Day 6: Tour ends in Hanoi.

Detailed Itinerary:

Day 1: On board the train Hanoi - Lao Cai (-,-,-)
Depart from Hanoi by night train. (Possible to upgrade to the luxurious Victoria Express).

Day 2: Lao Cai - Sapa. Overnight at Victoria Sapa hotel (-,-,-)
You arrive in Lao Cai in the early morning and have a transfer to Victoria Sapa Hotel. Early check in is upon the hotel’s availabilities. The day is free to explore the area around Sapa. The staff of Topas Travel office in Sapa can assist you with tours and information.

Day 3: Sapa - Topas Ecolodge (B,L,D)
You have breakfast at the hotel’s restaurant. At 10h30 you take the Topas Ecolodge shuttle bus from Victoria hotel to Topas Ecolodge. The transfer is approximately one hour. Your lunch is served at the lodge’s restaurant. The afternoon is free at Topas Ecolodge. If you would like to buy a half day excursion to the beneath valley, where the friendly ethnic minority people lives, the Lodge staff can assist you with tours and information.
Dinner and overnight at Topas Ecolodge.

Day 4: Topas Ecolodge (B,-,D)
Today is at your leisure at Topas Ecolodge. Contact the the Lodge staff for coming to Sapa with shuttle buses or for arranging tour in case you would like to enjoy a half or full day excursion.
Dinner and overnight at Topas Ecolodge.

Day 5: Topas Ecolodge - Sapa - Lao Cai - Hanoi (B,-,-)
You will have breakfast at the Lodge’s restaurant. It is at your choice to take either the shuttle bus departing at 9h00 or at 14h00 to Sapa.
At 17h30, you will take the shuttle bus to Lao Cai for the night train back to Hanoi.

Day 6: Arrive in Hanoi (-,-,-)
The train will arrive in Hanoi around 4h30 am. End of trip.

"Incredible views”

This is a beautiful hotel/lodge with an incredible view of the mountains of Sapa. Getting there is worth the trouble whether you travel by jeep or on foot. The rooms are fantastic with private balconies. The main lodge/dinning area is wonderful and the food is quite good. When we were there they had an adorable little puppy on the grounds...
