Please read these terms and conditions carefully. By accessing this site and any pages thereof, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions below, which may be modified by from time to time.

General terms and conditions for booking at Topas Ecolodge
The Topas Ecolodge, 24 Muong Hoa, Sapa, Lao Cai (VAT registration No.: MST: 5300 212 565) has provided this website as a facility to customers wishing to stay at Topas Ecolodge. 
All bookings made at www.topasecolodge.com assume these terms and conditions have been read and accepted
All booking made on www.topasecolodge.com is subject to the customer agreement to these terms and conditions; bookings can not be made without this agreement.
You must be aged 17 years or over to make a booking, and by making a booking you are confirming that you are of sufficient legal age and capacity to use our website and create binding legal obligations for any liability you may incur as a result of such use.
All requested services are guaranteed only when we have received the down payment from you.
The price are for accommodation only or accommodation plus board, as stated on the booking confirmation, and do not generally include any additional expenses incurred such as additional meals, drinks, tours etc except where specified on the booking confirmation.

Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability
We do not warrant that this site, its servers, or e-mail sent from services on behalf of www.topasecolodge.com are free of viruses or other harmful components. We will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of this site. Hypertext links to other Internet resources, which are not under the control of Topas Ecolodge, are used at your own risk.

Privacy Policy
We know that you care how information about you is used. We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully. The information about you is collected if you make a booking and includes your:
- Full name
- E-mail address
- Telephonenumber
- Detailed address
- Credit card processing details
You can check that the information we hold about you is accurate and up-to-date by contacting us. If you find anything is inaccurate we will delete or amend the error promptly. We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent. We will not pass your information to any third parties. This site does not use cookies to trace the patterns of behaviour of visitors. However first party cookies are used to improve the quality of navigation experienced by site visitors.

Card Payment Security
Using your credit card to make purchases via this site is a secure way to confirm your booking. Topas Ecolodge has put a number of security steps in place to give you confidence when booking on-line. The communication of all sensitive information, including personal details and credit card information, is encrypted through the use of our secure server and your web browser. This means that information can only be exchanged between you and Topas Ecolodge, and that no third party can access this data whilst it is being sent over the internet. All booking details are then held on a secure computer. We do not retain live records of credit card information on our internet web servers after the booking and payment transaction have been completed.

Travel documents
It is the Participant's responsibility to ensure they comply with all requirements from local autorities such as but not limited to visa and passport and other. Topas Ecolodge  will not be responsible for any participant's failure to do so. Any information provided by Topas Ecolodge with regard to travel documentation is given in good faith but without responsibility on the part of Topas Ecolodge

Payment
We will charge the credit card within 48 working hours after receiving you reservation. All services are only guaranteed after successfully payment otherwise the requested services will not be guaranteed and may result to cancellation without prior notice by Topas Ecologe.

We require customer who use our services be the same as cardholder used for payment.
We kindly ask our customer to bring the card used for payment along during their stay and keep the right to see it upon request at check in or during their stay.

Cancellation
No cancellations are accepted without confirmation by fax or e-mail by Topas Ecolodge..

Cancellation charges will be applied from the day written notification is received by Topas Ecolodge.
Cancellation made after booking confirmation will be charged 10% of the total amount; Cancellation made 21 days prior to arrival date will be charged 30% of the total amount; Cancellation made 7 days prior to arrival date will be charged 50 % of the total amount; Cancellation made 3 days prior to arrival date will be charged 75 % of the total amount; Cancellation made within 24 hours or no show will be charged 100 % of the total amount;

Force Majeure
We cannot accept any liability where the hostel booking could not be fulfilled due to circumstances which we could not, even with due care, have foreseen or avoided. Such events may include, but are not limited to, war, threat of war, civil commotion or strife, hostilities, strikes or other industrial dispute, natural disaster, fire, act of God, terrorist activities, technical problems with transportation, closures of airports, ports and/or ferries, quarantine, epidemics, weather conditions, government action or other events outside our control.

Complaints
We take any complaints received very seriously. If you have cause for complaint during your stay that cannot be satisfied by dealing directly with the hotel manager or if you have a complaint about any aspect of our booking process or services please write or e-mail us within 14 days of using our services, using the contact details provided on this site, and we shall try to resolve the matter quickly and confidentially.

Applicable Law
Any controversy or claim of whatsoever nature arising out of or related in any manner whatsoever to these Terms and Conditions or any agreement to which these Terms and Conditions apply or any breach of any terms of such are governed by the laws of Vietnam. The courts of Vietnam shall have exclusive jurisdiction to determine any dispute in connection with such terms and conditions or use of the website.

Others
Located in a sensitive cultural and natural area, Topas Ecolodge and visiting guests must comply with the “Temporary Regulation on Management of Village Tourism Routes in Sapa District”. According to the Decision of the District People’s Committee of Sa Pa, No. 145/QD-C, dated 12/10/2004, the freedom of movement in the area might be limited without a accompany of a licensed guide.
