Topas Ecolodge Background

The background for Topas Ecolodge comes from the  long term co-operation between a Vietnamese and a Danish travel company.  For more than six years we have been working together in Sapa to develop quality tourism. 

Our partnership has been strengthened even further as we have devised and carried out the planning and building of Topas Ecolodge. We are proud of our little place in the mountains of  North Vietnam. 

Topas Travel 

Since 1973 has Topas offered adventurous travel throughout the world… 

The majority of tours arranged by Topas are trekking trips, lasting from 1 to 4 weeks.  Topas travel to 27 different counties worldwide such as South America, Africa, Europe and Asia where the destinations include China, Nepal, India, Tibet, and Vietnam.  All tours are developed by Topas´ own employees and guides and most groups are small, ranging from 12 to 16 people. This is to avoid the effects of mass-tourism as the areas visited are often small and remote societies. 

Developing new tours and improving the existing ones is an on going process based both on the experience and ideas of our own tour leaders around the world and, more importantly, the feedback that you give us when the tour are over.
